What a fantastic spot for a weekend. Wished we could’ve stayed longer. Amazing generosity from owners too. Thankyou. Will definitely be looking to book again.

The hot tub is a 4 seater, including 2 loungers, and it situated on a decked area in the garden, a few paces from the front door (see photo below). There is a gazebo covering the hot tub, so you get the unspoilt views down the valley, but your hair won’t get wet if it’s raining! We also have a bigger 6-acre secure dog-walking area (“Central Bark”), which consists of two adjoining fields. The first is flat, and has mown paths, benches, a loop through the woods, poo bins, solar lighting and some lovely sculptures for onsite walks. This field leads on to another large fenced field, which has a flat area and a valley, which provides excellent rabbit-chasing territory!
The cottage has everything you’d expect in a 5* cottage – fluffy bathrobes and hairdryer in the bedroom; flatscreen TV, DVD player, CD player, iPod dock and radio, as well as books and games to entertain you. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, ceramic hob and fridge/freezer. What people say
Myself and my partner stayed here for three nights and all in all it was excellent. The Coach House was furnished to a high standard and the setting was lovely, each morning upon awakening you’re met with a beautiful view and the peace and quiet of the Cornish countryside. What more could you want? Beth recommended The Springer Spaniel pub in Treburley for some fine dining and that made our stay complete. 5 stars all round!
Great location Great accommodation Great hosts Nothing seems to be too much trouble. We have stayed at Kernock 4 times I don’t think that anything more needs to be added.
We rented all five cottages as guests of my daughter’s wedding. All of us were astounded at the high quality of the furnishings, the cleanliness and the very unexpected welcome pack! after an amazing wedding nearby we were so pleased to be able to come ‘home’ to warm and comfy beds and only the bleeting of lambs to wake us up next morning!
The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming and provide so much information to help plan a trip. The cottage itself is immaculate, comfortable and has everything you need and more with fluffy dressing gowns the cherry on top.
We have been coming to Kernock cottages for ages now as we as a family really love it there, the owners couldn’t be more helpful, we have no stayed in every cottage they have and they are all great!! Couldn’t recommend enough.
We stayed in Heather Barn for our summer holiday and had a fabulous time. We loved the garden best of all because it is huge and private but the cottage itself is also lovely, very clean, modern and finished to a very high standard. We had fantastic weather and some great days out as Cornwall is beautiful and there are lots of things to do and places to visit. Our best day was a family canoe trip courtesy of the Tamar Trails Centre which was really good fun. We also enjoyed the outdoor water park at Paignton and body boarding at the beautiful beaches of Holywell Bay near Newquay and Widemouth Bay at Bude.
