We are fortunate to have several superb National Trust properties within a few miles of Kernock. All look spectacular at Christmas:
The magnificent Christmas Garland. Festive lights along the stream to Cotehele Mill decorated in traditional Victorian style and discover how families who lived at Cotehele Mill, celebrated Christmas in those times. Toys to play with, costumes to adorn and craft activities to complete.
NT Saltram, Plymouth – Book your tickets
24 November – 2 January. Bookings required. Christmas in bloom, Christmas family trails in the garden and house, songs and stories with Father Christmas, Christmas food and drink.
NT Buckland Abbey 2 – 31 December
From Saturday 2nd December 2023. You are invited to step back in time to the Tudor era and immerse yourself in our ‘Frost Fair’. Find out about the history of these events, and wander through the frosty trees and icy décor used to recreate this magical time. The barn will be filled with trees and twinkling lights to create a beautiful display. The Abbey will also be dressed for a very frosty Christmas for all to see.
