We are fortunate to have several superb National Trust properties within a few miles of Kernock. All look spectacular at Christmas:
Festive lights along the stream to Cotehele Mill decorated in traditional Victorian style and discover how families who lived at Cotehele Mill, celebrated Christmas in those times. Toys to play with, costumes to adorn and craft activities to complete. Magnificent Christmas Garland.
NT Saltram, Plymouth – Book your tickets
25 November – 2 January. Bookings required. ‘Experience the magical, extravagant, and luxurious Georgian style Christmas ball at Saltram House. With brand new rooms being decorated for 2022, there will be festive moments behind every door with that well known sprinkle of Saltram magic’. Christmas family garden trail and garden walks
From Saturday 3rd December 2022. Fully decorated House transformed into an Elizabethan home of feast and festivity: cascade in the abbey, as it descends down the Georgian staircase with over 700 decorations, the Great Barn alight with 100 Christmas trees and an enchanting light display, magical winter forest light display, woodland animal habitat exploration trail outside. Olde Father Christmas, traditionally dressed in all green Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th December, four ticketed sessions will be each day at 11.15am, 12.15pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm.
